Feature: TWINSER
TWINSER: We did not invent them, but we are the only producer of production boards, who incorporates the advantages of the twinser-fins for windsurf boards.
TWINSER-fins are basically immune to spin-outs. With shorter lengths and slender profiles, the two fins handle a great amount of lateral pressure, and, compared to single-fin boards, can handle larger sails. Benefit: More control!
The two fins, which are parallel to each other, are shorter and therefore create less lift than a conventional fin. For this reason, the foot straps can be positioned closer to the center-line, and the sailor, when speeding along, does not need to put very much pressure on the rail. Benefit: Very relaxed sailing and less strain on foot joints.
TWINSER-fins are considerably shorter than single-fin boards with a comparable volume. Benefit: Very suitable for flat water, easy beach start from close to the shore.
TWINSER-fins don’t drag! The specially developed fins by Hifly have a slender profile, which makes them fast and plane early and they feature an excellent upwind performance. There are no performance drawbacks.
With TWINSER-fins having so many benefits, we added yet another board to our range, the MADD WAVE 83, a wave/ freestyle board. The MADD 90 (freestyle/ wave) and the MADD 162 (freeride) boards have received a complete revision. So in total we now offer eight HiFly-boards with dual fins. Check out the advantages of this system for yourself!
